Technical Training with SMC Spain to Further Advance Industrial Automation

Keeping our technical knowledge up to date is essential to addressing the challenges of industry and developing increasingly efficient automation solutions. In this context, MEPSA had the opportunity to work with SMC Spain during a technical training session aimed at our engineering team.

The session provided an opportunity to explore different technologies and solutions related to industrial pneumatics and automation, two key areas in the design and development of industrial machinery and automated cells.

Throughout the session, our team gained a deeper understanding of various SMC components and solutions, as well as their potential applications and integration into industrial systems.

 

Pneumatics and Automation Applied to Industrial Machinery

Pneumatics plays an important role in numerous industrial processes, particularly in applications requiring fast, precise and repetitive movements. Cylinders, valves, actuators, vacuum systems, sensors and other pneumatic components enable different functions to be carried out within machinery and automated cells.

During the training, different SMC solutions for industrial automation were analysed, with particular attention paid to their features, integration possibilities and applications.

This knowledge is particularly valuable for our engineering team, which works every day on the development of CNC machinery, automated systems and robotic cells tailored to the specific requirements of each project.
